Rolta India Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 22, 2007, inter alia, has recommended (subject to the approval by the members of the Company, at their forthcoming Annual General Meeting on November 16, 2007) the Issue of Bonus Shares in the proportion of one Equity Share for every one Equity Share held by the members, on a date to be fixed by the Board, by capitalising a part of the General Reserve / Share Premium Account.

Rolta announces Q2 Results

Rolta India Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 613.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 400.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 1336.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 to Rs 2036.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.

The Consolidated results are as follows:

The Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 538.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 373.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 1572.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 to Rs 2306.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
