Visa Steel Limited had informed the Exchange that "The Company's blast furnace at Kalinganagar, Orissa had been shutdown for routine repair & maintenance work, when there was an accidental flame during the process of opening the tuyer. The repair & maintenance work is nearing completion and the Company is taking necessary steps to restart the blast furnace operations at the earliest, as per the directives of the Directorate of Factories". The Company has now informed the Exchange that "The Company's blast furnace has since restarted and has commenced production".
