Himatsingka Seide opens Atmosphere

Himatsingka Seide Ltd has announced that the opening of the second international store for "Atmosphere", in Singapore, on October 12, 2007. The first overseas store of "Atmosphere" opened in Dubai in May, 2007. The Dubai store has met with very encouraging response from interior designers and retail customers from all over GCC. The Dubai unit has already executed orders for palaces, high end hotels and local HNI's.

Singapore is the hub for interior design firms which design hotels, offices and residential projects all over South East Asia, North Asia, India and the Middle East. The Singapore store of the Company is managed by a team which has already established contact with many of these leading interior design firms.

The Singapore store is located very close to the premium Orchard Road area and is in close proximity to stores of the world's leading luxury brands. This location is very suitable for retail sales.

According to Bharat Ram, Vice President - Retail "The Singapore store will not only help us in making inroads in the local market but also enable in augmenting business for our operations in India and the Middle East. Designers in Singapore prefer to specify fabrics from sources which are easily accessible. The Singapore store will help to coordinate effectively with these designers."

Store locations are also being finalized in other cities of South East Asia and North Asia. "Atmosphere's" third store in Mumbai and its 12th store in India will open in October, 2007. The retail subsidiary is also in the process of finalizing other stores in India.
