Zensar bags Oracle applications order

Zensar Technologies Ltd, on October 09, 2007, has announced a surge in its Enterprise Applications business, with significant new wins in Oracle applications Implementation and offshore support worth over 11 Million USD for the Company.

ZensarThoughtDigital (ZTD), the Oracle business of the Company has been the driver of recent new wins for the Company. Sushma Rajagopalan, Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer who also handles the ZTD business based out of the US said, "It has been a good run this year, with ZTD driving a number of significant new wins in Oracle Implementations and upgrades, Notable among the new wins, have been significant contracts in key verticals of manufacturing, media, hi-tech and business services. The newly acquired entity ZTD has already begun to show substantial traction in R12 Implementations and in leveraging Zensar's offshore capabilities.

Enhancing Zensar's Media vertical, is a new deal to implement global Oracle financials and procurement packages for a leading provider of trade, transportation, and travel information, news and Intelligence; a subsidiary of a multi-billion dollar global media Company. On awarding the contract the customer said, "Zensar's ability to bring the entire implementation team to the table and their consultative approach during the sales cycle was one of the key reasons why we selected them," The second phase of the implementation will include Order to Cash and Human Capital Management and will run through 2008-09.

The Company has also won an Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation for a leading electronic manufacturing services Company. Company's deep manufacturing domain competency coupled with in-depth functional and technical skills was a hallmark of this win. The Company is also implementing an 11.5.10 EBS suite for a venture backed hi-tech airport security Company out of the East Coast.

Other wins include implementing business service management for a leading global provider of enterprise management solutions that empower Companies to automate their IT and align it to the needs of the business. Company's solutions span enterprise systems, applications, databases and service management. Company has also struck a deal with leading worldwide provider of broadband test and measurement solutions and optical products for communications, commercial and consumer markets.

The Company has also successfully expanded its presence in an existing Fortune 100 client with new enterprise application projects that are helping the client rationalize and simplify their current Oracle Applications implementation. This breakthrough is in addition to the existing worldwide e-commerce applications that Company already supports.
