Bongaigaon Q3FY08 Results

Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (BRPL) has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 849.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 348.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 13849.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 14730.80 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.

The derivative contracts in the underlying NAGARFERT & BONGAIREFN have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on September 07, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of NAGARFERT & BONGAIREFN by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.
