quiet, luxurious and comfortable environment.

The Company's Airport Lounge has been designed by the prominent architecture and design firm SOM and has room for 18 First Class and 59 Premiere passengers. The main challenge for the designers was to maximize the lounge surface, some 522m2 and to create a sense of space.
Passengers on their way to the lounge are immediately impressed by the outside walls in Italian natural stone and striking atmosphere lighting. A spacious reception hall divides the open lounge into two large sections: one for First Class passengers and a larger section for Premiere travelers.
The illumination and the space in combination with the soothing shades of beige and grey, the natural materials used and the leather design furniture create a luxurious and cosmopolitan loft feeling, carefully chosen details reflect a subtle hint of modern India.
Passengers wishing to rest can lounge in one of the many comfortable Italian leather design chairs. Entertainment zones have been installed in three different locations in the lounge with large Pioneer flat screen televisions and Bose headphones allowing the user to view and listen to programmes of his choice undisturbed.
A media wall in the First Class area and a reading room in Premiere equipped with design rocking chairs offer passengers a wide selection of periodicals and magazines.
Luxuriously appointed facilities allow passengers to refresh themselves and First Class passengers even have facilities for a shower.
Passengers wanting to make efficient use of their waiting time can connect to the Internet via one of the many connection points for laptops or wireless. The Company also provides a business centre with a meeting room and four Internet stations as well as a printer and fax.
Premiere passengers can enjoy a meal or a drink in a cosy buffet area, where they can choose from a variety of Indian and European dishes and snacks. First Class passengers can enjoy table service, but can also opt for self-service at the buffet if they so prefer.
A separate play area is provided for children with large ‘Fatboy’ poufs, fitted carpet and a television. A glass partition allows parents to keep an eye on their children. A secluded nursing room backs onto the playroom, where young mothers can feed their children.
Commenting on the launch of the new lounge at it’s hub in Brussels, the Company's Chairman, Mr. Naresh Goyal said, "The Jet Airways lounge is arguably one of the finest in the world. No effort has been spared to give our passengers facilities and comfort in a luxurious setting."
