LIC Housing Finance Q3FY08 Results

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007:

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1060.20 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 766.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 4041.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 5516.20 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.

LIC Housing Finance EGM to issue shares to QIBs

With reference to the earlier announcement dated October 23, 2007, LIC Housing Finance Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company vide Circular Resolution dated November 03, 2007 has advised to evaluate the possibility of issue of equity shares / warrants through preferential allotment to promoters / investors in addition to the earlier option of issue of equity shares on Qualified Institutional Placements basis.

In view of above, the Board of Directors of the Company in the said Circular Resolution have decided to reschedule the Extra Ordinary General Meeting which was earlier scheduled to be held on November 30, 2007.

The revised date of the Extra Ordinary General Meeting will be intimated after the same has been decided by the Board of Directors of the Company.

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007:

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1163.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 759.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 3848.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 to Rs 5265.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
