Pratibha Industries secures contract

Pratibha Industries Ltd has informed that the Company has secured a contract for 'Replacement of Rising Mains and Laying of New Rising Mains and Gravity Mains in Jammu City' from Jammu & Kashmir Economic Reconstruction Agency. The total value of the contract is Rs 49.49 crores.

The project involves 'replacement of worn out rising mains and laying of new rising mains and gravity mains in various parts of Jammu City (Strengthening of existing system of Phase II)'. The project is to be executed in 18 months.

The Company is engaged in infrastructure business and manufacture of SAW pipes. As the Company moves ahead, the Company has laid increased emphasis on devising its business strategy on aggressive top line growth, a de-risked business model and increased operational efficiencies.

Pratibha Industries secures contract for IGIA airport

Pratibha Industries Ltd has informed that the Company has secured a contract for construction / expansion of domestic arrival terminal of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi from Delhi International Airport (P) Ltd (a GMR group Company). The project is in joint venture with Pratibha Pipes & Structural Ltd., a group Company. The total value of the contract is Rs 41.35 crores.

The project involves "construction and expansion of the domestic arrival terminal at Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi". The project is to be executed in about 5 months.

Pratibha Industries secures contract

Pratibha Industries Ltd has informed that the Company has secured a contract for construction of Residential Complex of four High Rise Towers of 49 floors from Vijay Associates (Wadhwa) Constructions Pvt. Ltd. The total area to be constructed is about 25 lakhs sq. ft. The total value of the contract is Rs 58.92 crores excluding cost of material. The completion period of the project is 33 months.

Prathiba Industries sets up production at new factory

Pratibha Industries Ltd has informed that the Company has successfully completed trial runs and commenced commercial production of 'Spirally Welded Mild Steel Pipes' (H-SAW Pipes) at its newly set up factory in the second quarter of the current year. The factory is located at Wada in Thane District, Maharashtra and has a capacity of 92000 tpa. The implementation of 3 LP coating plant (capacity 1.7 million sq. mtrs.) is on schedule and will be operational in the fourth quarter of the current year. The total capital outlay is estimated at Rs 81.10 cr, out of which the Company has already expended Rs 63.84 cr till September 30, 2007.

The Company is in the process of obtaining 'API 5L X80' certification from the American Petroleum Institute (API) which makes the pipes manufactured at its factory eligible for transportation of 'Oil & Gas'. The quality system manual is already approved by API and the certification is expected before end of this quarter. The factory already has firm orders for supply of 208 km of pipes.
