Sakthi Sugars Ltd. has informed the Exchange that: "The following projects which were under implementation at Poondurai Semur Village, Erode District in the State of Tamilnadu have commenced commercial production with effect from 7th September 2007 onwards: Sugar Mill with a capacity to crush 3500 Tonnes of sugarcane per day Cogeneration of power with a capacity produce 25 MW".
