Marg Constructions to setup SEZ

Marg Constructions Ltd has informed that M/s. New Chennai Township Pvt Ltd a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company is establishing a Multi Service Special Economic Zone on 121.94 hectares (approx 301.32 acres) at Seekinakuppam (Paramankeni and Vellur villages), Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu. This is adjacent and contiguous to the Light Engineering SEZ admeasuring 125.002 hectares (approx 308.89 acres) which has already been notified by the Government of India vide Notification No. S.O. 1683 (E), dated September 28, 2007.

Further the Company has informed that Government of India has now notified the same as Special Economic Zone under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 vide Notification No. S.O 1981, dated November 23, 2007 published in the Gazette of India.
