Maruti Suzuki - Sales in December 2007

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced that the Company has sold 58,401 vehicles in the domestic market in December 2007.

The Company had sold 54,640 vehicles in the domestic market in December 2006.

In all, the Company sold 62,515 vehicles in December 2007. This includes 4,114 units of exports.

The Company's volume in the domestic A2 segment went up by 2.9 per cent, while in A3 segment the domestic volume grew by 54.7 per cent, compared to December 2006. In C segment the sales grew by 23.2 per cent during the month compared to sales in December 2006.
