Orchid's formulation facilities receive MCC (South Africa) nod

Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd, on January 11, 2008 has announced that its formulation facilities, comprising the Cephalosporin plant and Penicillin plant have been approved by the Medicines Control Council (MCC), South Africa. These facilities manufacture a range of Cephalosporin and Penicillin injections.

The approval once again validates the compliance standards of Orchid's facilities in line with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations. This approval will pave the way for Orchid's entry into the South African market based on specific product filings and approvals.
