Sterlite Technologies Q3FY08 Results

Sterlite Technologies Ltd has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007:

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 264.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 128.70 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006. Total Income is Rs 5022.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 3139.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

The Company has acquired "Power Transmission Business" w.e.f. July 01, 2006. Hence figures for Nine Months are not comparable to figures for the previous year.
