United Phosphorus Q2FY07 Results

United Phosphorus Ltd has announced the following Un-Audited Results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007:

The Company has posted a net loss of Rs 42.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 where as the net profit was at Rs 395.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs 3950.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 3910.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

The Consolidated Results are as follows:

The Group has posted a profit after tax with income from Associated Co. of Rs 882.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 656.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs 8866.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 5168.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

In view of the acquisition of Cerexagri Group of Companies during the March 07 quarter, the current quarter / Half year figures are not comparable with those of corresponding periods of the previous year.
