Satyam - Greenplum Partnership

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has informed that, Greenplum, a leading provider of database software for business intelligence, and the Company on January 07, 2008 has announced a global solutions partnership to combine Satyam's reach and expertise in delivering business intelligence (BI) solutions with Greenplum's innovative database software.

With this partnership, Satyam is building a dedicated practice around Greenplum technology which involves integration of Greenplum Database into iDecisions™ for Revenue Intelligence & Assurance for the telecom industry. Satyam’s iDecisions™ for Revenue Intelligence & Assurance is a technology framework to help telcos effectively Identify and plug revenue leakage.

A prominent Sun reseller, Satyam will also resell and provide implementation and support services for the Sun Data Warehouse Appliance powered on Greenplum. The Sun Data Warehouse Appliance integrates Greenplum's massively parallel, shared-nothing database with general-purpose servers and storage from Sun to enable unmatched load and query performance for business intelligence workloads.
