Infotech Enterprises Bangalore Technology Centre

Infotech Enterprises Ltd has announced that on October 24, 2007 the Company inaugurated its global technology centre in Electronic city, Bangalore. The new facility was inaugurated by Mr. Louis R Chenevert, President and COO UTC (United Technologies Corporation) and Mr. Ashok Baweja, Chairman, HAL, was the chief guest.

The new five storeyed facility built on two basement floors on a two acre plot has a built up area of 2.40 Lakh sq ft. Infotech invested over Rs 40 crores to build this facility. This facility will accommodate over 1500 work stations. This facility will enable the Company to integrate its three development centres in Madiwala, Bommanahalli and Koramangala in one location. The new facility would house all Infotech's Engineering Design Services - predominantly, Aerospace, Avionics and Rail. This is Infotech's fourth facility in India; the other three large facilities are in Hyderabad.

Commenting on the occasion, BVR Mohan Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director of the Company said, "This new global technology development centre in Ban galore is in line with our expansion strategy to grew in locations which have the best talented resources in areas of our focus and specialization. It adds a new dimension to our pursuit of excellence in providing high value services to our customers globally. With this new facility, Ban galore becomes our next biggest centre besides Hyderabad."

To provide world-class service to its customers, the new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art IT networks and systems, cutting edge technologies for information security to meet stringent controls. The new facility is also features 15.000 sq.ft. of lush green lawn, a terrace garden of 2,000 sq.ft, an amphitheatre for in-house training programs, world class recreation centre, two level car parking, a well appoint stay-in facility and a modern cafeteria and an eco-friendly STP.
