Greycells Entertainment completes Hansie

Greycells Entertainment Ltd has announced that the Company have added another feather to their cap with the completion of shooting in India of the international feature film "Hansie".

The film, based on the turbulent life of ex-captain of the South African cricket team, Hansie Cronje, was shot across multiple locations over a hectic 10 day schedule. The shooting included recreating matches played in India during Hansie's tours of the sub continent as well as off field shoots of his activities and life.

The film is a large budget, international production with distribution expected to be world wide, especially in cricket loving countries. In fact, the film is being treated as a film for any country based on a sportsman's life and is expected to also have a market in the United States as well.

The Company worked very closely with the film's producer and team, which included upto 30 South African crew while in India to deliver a world class production.

The film shoot involved local acting talent as well as creative / technicians as well as extensive use of local equipment. The film is being shot in high definition format and has among its firsts, the use of the new "Phantom" camera which allows ultra slow motion capture for action footage at upto 4000 frames per second.

The Company are proud to have handled such a large and prestigious production in India and wish all success for the film release in the summer of 2008.

The Company constantly endeavors to deliver value and quality in every international project it handles as has been demonstrated again with this assignment and will do so in the upcoming future assignments as well.
